I have two requirements for joining my groups. The benefits to these requirements will greatly enhance your results at the end of the challenge. By drinking shakeology everyday you are putting the right nutrition in your body to fuel your next workout along with getting the proper vitamins that you&#8217;ve been depriving your body before committing to get fit. Your gonna love the changes you&#8217;ll see in the mirror if you have the right accountability. That&#8217;s where the facebook group comes into play. In this group there will be like minded people striving to accomplish similar goals that you have. By having an online accountability partner and not to mention free coaching from me you will have all the tools you need to succeed. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>At the age of 18 I received the call of God to preach the gospel, and for the most part, I have been blessed to work in full-time ministry. All through my childhood and leading into my teenage and young adult years I maintained a healthy weight. I was always an outdoors kind of person and enjoyed sports, which played a major factor in my health and fitness. When my wife and I married in July of 1999, I weighed 157 pounds. We were student pastors working at our first church, and like many who enter into the ministry, we began to focus on the spiritual needs of others while neglecting our own physical needs to stay in shape.</p>
<p>I would often hear 1 Timothy 4:8 from fellow pastors, &#8220;For bodily exercise profits little&#8230;&#8221; This famous quote has often been &#8220;the way out&#8221; for many who serve in the ministry, as it was for me. I used 1 Timothy 4:8 as an excuse not to work out and eat healthy. As a result, it led to symptoms of pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, and a heart that had grown weak from lack of exercise. <a title="My P90X Transformation" href="http://www.stayfit4life.org/2011/07/01/my-p90x-transformation/">That is until I took action.</a> I knew I needed a change if I was to ever serve again in active, full-time ministry. The temple of God &#8211; my body &#8211; needed a healing before I could be used again to help others.</p>
<p>I send this challenge &#8211; to examine yourselves &#8211; to all of you who serve in ministry. Take the time to get a physical before it&#8217;s too late. Lead by example, Pastors, and at your next potluck dinner, <em>you</em> be the one who brings the fresh or steamed veggies instead of the fried chicken. Preach series on healthy living, and see both the physical and spiritual changes take shape in the people you pastor.  If we are ever going to help end the trend of obesity in America, it must start with us who have been given the opportunity to lead people into <em>life-giving</em> relationships that honor and represent Jesus Christ. <a href="http://www.flashfloods.com/home/fitness/articles/bodily-exercise-profits-little.html">Here is a great article on insight on 1 Timothy 4:8.</a></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.stayfit4life.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Slide1.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-977" title="Slide1" src="http://www.stayfit4life.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Slide1-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a>This past Saturday I finished my first 90days of P90X2 and all I can say is, &#8220;Wow, what a journey it&#8217;s been!&#8221; When I first started P90X2 on January 1st, 2012 I had doubts, and fears concerning the new program. After all, I am a three time P90X graduate and when you fall in love with a program that brings great results it&#8217;s hard to just put down and start a new one even if it&#8217;s your favorite trainer like Tony Horton. Let&#8217;s face it, we don&#8217;t like change. But as Tony would say, &#8220;Change is good!&#8221; And if we are to continue to grow and be stretched when it comes to our health and fitness then we need to continue to add variety in our exercise routines. I hear Tony again in the back of my mind saying, &#8220;Variety is the spice of life!&#8221; As fitness enthusiast, we must constantly find new ways to challenge, stretch and motivate ourselves to get to that next level that for many of us desire. So to get to that next level and overcome those fears and concerns one of the first things I did was to join a challenge group. You might be wondering, &#8220;What is a challenge group?&#8221; A challenge group is a small group of  people that hold each other accountable to a program like <a title="P90X2 Challenge Pack" href="http://www.stayfit4life.org/challenge-packs/p90x2-challenge-pack/">P90X2 </a>along with the <a title="Shakeology" href="http://www.stayfit4life.org/supplements/shakeology/">nutrition</a> it takes to get great results. The challenge group that I joined was the person that coaches me. You can check out Coach Sean <a href="http://getrippedathome.com/">here.</a> Sean is a P90X2 cast member and knows what it takes to get in great shape. Every person in life needs a <a title="About Me" href="http://www.stayfit4life.org/about-me/">coach</a> if they want to achieve success.  That is exactly what P90X2 did for me. It pushed me beyond my limits. And trust me, if you are all concerned about the muscle confusion in X2 compared to P90X, don&#8217;t be because there is plenty of it. You can check out my <a title="Not Your Average Push Up!" href="http://www.stayfit4life.org/2012/02/10/med-ball-burpee-from-hell/">first six weeks of the program here </a>that includes the foundation phase and part of the strength phase.</p>
<p>P90X2 builds upon the fitness level that what one has already gained by completing P90X. While it is not recommended that you start P90X2 before completing P90X there are modifications for the routines like in P90X. My advice to one that has never done either would be to check out <a title="P90X® Extreme Training System" href="http://www.stayfit4life.org/programs-5/test/">P90X first</a>. It will give you the foundation you need to go to that next level in X2 land. Let me just say that the medicine ball push up&#8217;s and front lever pull ups are no joke in X2. Everything in P90X2 is all about core engagement and connecting the muscles, joints and ligaments in a way that get&#8217;s you the body of an athlete.</p>

On the other hand, there is nothing that can take the place of good ole fashion working out and eating healthy. Yes, the weight comes off slower but it also is a lot harder to put back on. Why? Because when you choose a program like <a title="P90X® Extreme Training System" href="http://www.stayfit4life.org/programs-5/test/">P90X </a>you learn the in&#8217;s and out&#8217;s of the science behind muscle confusion. You learn the importance of nutrition and how to fuel the body after an intense workout such as chest and back! Which, by the way is one of my personal favorites.It&#8217;s hard to believe that I have been doing P90X since <a title="My P90X Transformation" href="http://www.stayfit4life.org/2011/07/01/my-p90x-transformation/">April of 2011</a>. That makes me a P90X grad not 1, not 2, but 3 times and now <a title="P90X2" href="http://www.stayfit4life.org/programs-5/p90x2/">P90X2</a>. I will finish my first round of P90X2 on April 1st, 2012. I think that&#8217;s kind of cool.</p>
<p>On March 24th I became P90X qualified and on April 21st, &amp; 22nd I will become a certified P90X instructor. This means I will have the knowledge, coupled with experience to help you achieve the best results possible using P90X.  But I want to warn you that you can&#8217;t have it both ways. You have to make up your mind to put down the whopper and pick up the weights. Should you decide to take the <a title="P90X Challenge Pack" href="http://www.stayfit4life.org/challenge-packs/p90x-challenge-pack/">P90X challenge</a> then you will have to clean out the pantry and discover the &#8220;Why?&#8221; in your life. Why do I want to get fit in the first place? Is it because summer will be here soon? Or is it to get fit before it&#8217;s too late with high blood pressure, diabetes and all the other preventive diseases? Diseases that can be avoided with proper nutrition and exercise.</p>
<p>Have I said, &#8220;You can&#8217;t have it both ways?&#8221; Well, &#8220;You can&#8217;t have it both ways!&#8221; What I&#8217;m offering you is the best affordable healthcare on the market. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.stayfit4life.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/marathon2.jpg"><img class="alignleft  wp-image-683" title="marathon2" src="http://www.stayfit4life.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/marathon2-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="191" height="240" /></a>It was three years ago when, like many of you who probably watch the reality show &#8220;The Biggest Loser,&#8221; that I was propped up on my pillow in the bedroom pounding away the rocky road ice cream as I heard Bob say, &#8220;Get up! Don&#8217;t quit! This is your Last chance workout,&#8221; to the contestants trying to avoid dropping below the yellow line. As I sat there licking the last bite of chocolate off the spoon along with drinking the the remainder of its delicious goo from the bottom of the bowl, I knew I needed a change. Tipping the scale at 220 pounds, I was on the verge of becoming a pre-diabetic and had high blood pressure at the age of 32.</p>
<p>As I continued my unhealthy lifestyle, in the summer of 2009 I began to have heart palpitations at night when I would try to sleep. It was at this juncture that I realized something had to give, and a change in my nutrition and health had become a priority. Those sleepless nights began to scare me as I would wake up in a deep sweat with my hands over my chest. I began to think about what kind of example I was setting for my children. My wife feared me dying of a young age and leaving her with three children to raise. I&#8217;ll never forget her words, &#8220;You better not leave me here with three children to raise alone!&#8221;</p>
<p>Three years have passed since I heard those words from my wife, and today I am healthier, happier, and more determined than ever before to pay it forward to people who want to get in the best shape of their lives. Like many people on &#8220;The Biggest Loser,&#8221; finding their &#8220;why&#8221; behind the weight gain is usually the tipping point to getting back on track or for the first time ever getting on track. It&#8217;s difficult at first, but when you find your &#8220;&#8216;why&#8221; in life, then finding the &#8220;what&#8221; will become clearer to getting the results to reaching your fitness goals. When I found my &#8220;why&#8221; in the summer of 2009, I knew &#8216;what&#8221; I needed to do. I had to start moving. I got up and headed to the gym &#8211; even if it was only for 20 minutes, I exercised. Then I cleaned out the kitchen. You have probably heard the old saying, &#8220;Garbage in, garbage out!&#8221; My wife and I cleaned out all the junk food and for the first time in our marriage, we started on our journey to healthy eating.
